NovaNet, build a smart camera network
| MVNova is more than a set of open source machine vision functions. MVNova provides NovaNet, a dedicated network protocol which enables MVNova to automatically exchange data between individual MVNova cameras. Each variable, result, string or even each image that the user registers at NovaNet, will automatically be available for all other smart cameras or computers in the network. NovaNet enables users to create a smart camera network, while still preserving all the smart camera advantages and maintaining one operator panel or maintenance point. As each MVNova smart camera still operates as an undependable image processing system, the number of cameras in the network barely influences the performance of the entire machine vision system. NovaNet also enables the user to maintain or service each individual MVNova camera from behind his desktop, or even from another part of the world. |
